We just received a birth announcement in the mail from our dear friend, a makeup artist and proud new mother, Drea. Seeing the sweet photo of her beautiful daughter brought me back to our own photo shoot with her a few months ago. Will had photographed her last spring at a secluded beach on the Palos Verdes Peninsula (one of our favorite little-known gems in the South Bay!).

The perfect light, crashing waves and jagged rock formations provided a stunning and dramatic backdrop for her maternity shoot. I love the ‘earth mother’ quality of these photos. She is a natural beauty! Congratulations Drea on the healthy birth of your little one!
