On top of it, I personally am blessed every day by amazing family, friends, and a career of capturing new beginnings. I feel so fortunate to photograph two lives starting fresh, united in a rebirth, surrounded by all the integral beauty and joy of the festivities. Thus the stark contrast, between my existence and those enduring through the day-to-day in Haiti, has been foremost on my mind.

When faced with such disparity, one can’t help but want to lend a hand, in whatever way, to those in need. So Bliss Wedding Studio will be donating 5% of all wedding packages, booked between now and the end of June, to the American Red Cross’ Haitian Relief Fund. Each donation will be made in the name of the couple booking the wedding package.

Together, let’s hope we can help return a little Bliss back to the people hurting in Haiti.

With the new site, we also wanted to add this blog to highlight all the extraordinary people, fab weddings and special occasions that we shoot every month… pictures that we otherwise couldn’t post on our site, since there are so many! And so you can get to know us better, we wanted to post the things that inspire us day in and day out, whether it be a piece of art that we admire, a designer we love, or a random roadside picture taken on one of our ambling drives through California.

But in a few hours, we’ll be driving out of California, on our way to Viva Las Vegas! (Which also happens to be my hometown… ahhh home sinful home…) We’re scouting out the Four Seasons today, in preparation for tomorrow’s wedding of the lovely Grais and Jerry. I haven’t seen the wedding dress yet, but I have no doubt that Grais will be every bit as glamorous and chic as I imagine! I already can’t wait to see how the pictures turn out!
